My Mom's Sweet Potatoes
8 whole yams
1/2 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
2 cups small marshmallows
Wash and dry yams. Place in large baking dish.
Bake yams at 350 for 1-1/2 to 2 hours. Remove from oven and cool.
Peel yams and place in a electric mixing bowl. Add butter and brown sugar. Mix and blend until smooth and creamy.
Place mixture in baking dish and cover top with marshmallows. Place in a 350 oven and bak until marshmallows are browned.
