Chocolate Crinkle Cookies by Carole Hunter

1 cup Shortening
1-2/3 cup Sugar
2 tsp Vanilla
2 Eggs
1/4 cup Cocoa
1/2 tsp Salt
2 tsp Baking Powder
2 cups Flour

Mix ingredients.  Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to an hour.

Shape into balls and roll in powdered sugar.


Bake for 7-8 minutes for a moist cookie.  Longer, if you them crunchy.
